MAERSK AIR (DM/DAN) for FS, operates low-cost flights to destinations in Europe and Middle-East, from it's three operational centers, Copenhagen-Kastrup (CPH/EKCH), Billund (BLL/EKBI) and Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN/ESSA). In addition there are many flights from Oslo-Intl (OSL/ENGM) and Helsinki-Vantaa (HEL/EFHK). Our Leisure network covers all the traditional destinations and also five intercontinental ones. We operate a total of 458 different flghts! All flights are now non-stop direct ones.

Maersk Virtual Air became a part of NOR-group in 2000, and was also noted by the real Maersk Air's parent group AP Moller, who linked our VA to some of it's sites. Now the real Maersk Air is a part of Sterling.dk, but for old days memories which we honor, we have now in 2006 completely refurbished this airline. We operate it so, as if the history would have gone the opposite way, and Maersk would have grown. We have also historical parts to which as always an extensive historical research ahs been done, and thus we found that one of the old B720's (OY-APZ) still survives in USA, the second last was scrapped in summer 06. But we have "saved" them all, and also added to the fleet what could have been done, by "leasing from JAS of Japan" 3 ex. B777-300's.

Now in October 2006, the 4.10.2006 being the 45th aniversary of the second oldest B720-051B (OY-APY), is also the launch date for this refurbished VA.
